Jean-Pierre presented the news of the NLC machine advisory committee
last December.
In particular he explained the functions of the various
committees which have been set-up to converge towards an international LC
project and on recent technical progress on the NLC, with emphasis on the
successful test of a klystron 4 pack with dual mode SLED II system. This
system produced 500 MW of peak power in a single waveguide.
