Review of the Frascati ELAN workshop

Abstract:
The European
Linear Accelerator & collider Network ELAN of the project CARE
(Coordination of Accelerator R&D in Europe) held its first workshop
in Frascati on May 4-6. The program and the output of the workshop is
shortly summarized and more specific information is given about the
work-packages Linac TEChnology, Normal Conducting (LTECNC); Beam
Dynamcis (BDYN); Instrumentation (INSTR); Advanced and Novel Acceleraor
Development (ANAD) and the Joint Research Activity (JRA)
