Abstract:

An efficient betatron resonance compensation is mandatory for a satisfactory performance of the PS Booster. A new multi-turn acquisition system was installed with the purpose to determine resonance driving terms from turn-by-turn beam position data using fast Fourier transform. The acquisition system, the specific measurement conditions at the PS Booster and the final results of the study, including the new working point, will be discussed.
