Abstract
Main aspects of the damping wiggler parameters
selection are considered briefly for the case of the CLIC damping ring. Several
types of damping wigglers (superconducting, electromagnet and permanent magnets)
are shown by example of devices, which were developed at Budker Institute of
Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk). Design of the NdFeB-magnet wiggler for the CLIC
damping ring is described and the relevant problems of damping ring operation
with wigglers are discussed.
