Abstracts

The talk will address different beam dynamic issues concerning both the CTF3 Linac and the Delay loop. The results of the emittance measurements performed during the last run will be presented and compared to simulations.
The second part will deal with the analysis of the delay loop settings used in operation and the measurements performed during the delay loop commissioning. Additionally, the recently discovered “injection problem” into the delay loop will be discussed.

The talk will cover bunch length measurement using the 1.5GHz RF deflector, time resolved energy spread measurements comparing results from the slit dump with those obtained from the segmented photomultiplier, and OTR screen performances with emphasis on the problem of measuring large beam sizes.
