Minutes of the CLIC Meeting - 8 September 2006

Agenda:
3 GHz and 30 GHz Conditioning Programs
Speaker:
Alexey Dubrovskiy

Abstract

An overview of the recent developments of automatic RF conditioning prmontgrams for CTF3 is given. This overview covers the principle scheme of the programs, the operational 3 GHz conditioning application, the operational 30 GHz conditioning application and the data logging facility presently under development.

Hans introduced Hamed Shaker, an Iranian PhD student working presently on RF pulse compression simulations at CTF3.

Alexey presented both his 3 GHz and 30 GHz applications for an automated conditioning he has been working on in the last two years. The 30 GHz application is now routinely used for the 30 GHz structure testing.
