Faktor2 is an electrostatic particle in cell code which tracks electrons and ions under the influence of their own fields and external fields. The external fields may be TEM fields of beams and magnetostatic fields. A description of the workings of the code is given. Some results for two-dimensional and three-dimensional problems are presented.
