The
Beam Delivery System (BDS) for the International Linear Collider (ILC)
focuses beams to nanometer sizes at its interaction point, collimates
the beam halo to provide acceptable background in the detector and has
a provision for state-of-the art beam instrumentation in order to reach
the ILC physics goals.
This talk will describe the design details of the beamlines and of the
interaction region and machine detector interface, the status of
R&D studies and the ESA and ATF2 test facilities.
