A proposal for an optics of the Long Transfer of the Drive Beam line will be presented, with some emphasis on the optimisation of cost, power consumption and performance. The impact of collective effects associated to the large beam current will be discussed. Preliminary integration issues with the turnaround lines and dumps are underway.
